3. The world’s largest condom is 260 feet tall, 330 feet around.
5. It takes 14 condoms to make a Varanasi saree – The condoms are reversed and used to rub the bobbin (on which the yarn is wound) and smoothen it with their lubrications. This ensures that the bobbin move faster and at the same time the yarn does not snap. The weavers now use condoms to protect their fingers while weaving.

Historians speculate loincloths worn by wealthier individuals also served as contraception when the urges hit.
10. Condoms don’t actually desensitise men.
11. There is no medical reason why someone can’t use a condom. Even people with latex allergies can use them — there are latex-free condoms made of polyurethane and polyisoprene.

13. Condoms average a shelf life of four years.
14. You can use condoms for oral sex.
15. ‘Wetsuit’, ‘Rubber’, ‘Jimmy’ and ‘Nightcap’. They are all names for condoms!
16. In more modern conditions, rubber latex condoms can be produced at a swift rate of 30000 per hour and can be lubricated with spermicide, and even flavoured.
17. Globally, condoms are the most common method of birth control. The male condom is the most commonly used method at first sex for both teenage men and women.
