Ministry of Railways tweet entire menu after receiving complaints from passengers

IRCTC is the fourth largest railway network in the world but when it comes to quality of services provided by the corporation, many travelers aren't impressed by it.

Every now and then, passengers were seen posting their complaints on social media platforms regarding the quality of food being served in the railways along with being overcharged as one of the major issues.

To solve the matter for many, Ministry of Railways recently took to Twitter and posted their entire menu with updated rates so that passengers can't be fooled anymore. The ministry of railways also encouraged passengers to lodge complaints in case they feel they are being overcharged.


The railways is trying to get hoteliers onboard so that they can build base kitchens at major stations to improve the quality of the food served in the trains. Railway minister, Suresh Prabhu also reviewed the catering policies recently and also promoted e-catering services to give passengers more options to choose from.
