The woman who claims to have married a 300-year old pirate ghost wants a divorce

The woman who ‘married’ a 300-year-old Haitian pirate called Jack has broken up with him.

Amanda Teague, 46, from one of Ireland’s oldest towns, Drogheda, wants a divorce from her ghost husband.

Teague appeared on a number of TV programmes, including Loose Women and Ian Lee’s radio show, on which she talked about how she fell in love with the miscreant.

Now, she says, she wants a divorce because he made her so sick she became hospitalised.

According to fm104, was hospitalised in June with sepsis and hasn’t spoken to Jack in six months.

The couple had married off the Irish coast in international waters and spent just one year together before she decided to call it quits.

According to the Irish Mirror, she announced the news on social media, where she wrote:

So I feel like it’s time to let everyone know that my marriage is over.

I will explain in due course but for now all I want to say is be VERY careful when dabbling in spirituality, it’s not something to mess with.

Teague, who is an impersonator of Pirates of the Caribbean character Jack Sparrow and spent £5,433 to legally change her name, hasn’t revealed why the relationship with the 300-year-old ghost broke down.

Eurgh, it's like Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston all over again.
