Sridevi breathed her last in February this year. Zero, directed by Aanand L Rai, was her last film.
Sridevi's tragic and untimely demise earlier this year, left millions heartbroken. Ravi Udyawar's revenge drama Mom, which won her the National Award for Best Actress posthumously, was the last film in which the legendary actress had a full-fledged role. However, she also made a special appearance in Aanand L Rai's Zero.
Fans flocked to theatres to see Sridevi on the big screen, one last time. Many people who watched the film got emotional after watching her cameo and took to Twitter to share their feelings. Take a look at some of their tweets:
Recently, Shah Rukh Khan opened up about Sridevi's guest appearance in Zero. "That sequence is actually not a long sequence. It's not in any which way...it's not an 'item' presence, honestly. And it's wrong to even kind of feel, 'Oh, it's a privilege to have had her in the film', because, you know, just the loss is so great," he said. "I hope wherever she is, she makes the world happy like she's done," he added.
Shah Rukh also said that had Sridevi been alive, she would have been the first to receive an invitation to the trial of Zero. "She would have been the first person I would have called. So, it's sad. I really wish her children, her husband and whole family very well," he said.
Meanwhile, Karisma Kapoor fondly remembered the time she shot with Sridevi for Zero. Sharing a behind-the-scenes picture, she wrote, "Thank you Shah Rukh and team 'Zero' for giving me the opportunity to share screen space (even if it was for a few minutes) with the legend and my all time favourite Sridevi, we miss you. Special moments."
