A device that instantly translates Japanese and Chinese

A Japanese company called Logbar has created a gadget that translates your words instantly so it could make travelling the world much easier.

The device is called "ili" and at the moment it only works with English, Japanese, and Chinese but more languages will be added over time.

It works without mobile data or WiFi so it could be used in the most remote places.

ili will cost around £160 and it is set to be released in the US in June 2017. It will be available in the UK soon after.
